We were able to implement the 2nd Project thanks to the great support from Joachim Schuster – A Heart for Uganda!

We planned to build an elementary school in Masaka, Uganda. Uganda is a large country between Congo and Kenya, directly situated on Lake Victoria and about 130 km away from the capital of Kampala.

Joachim Schuster donated 70,000 € for the project – Wonderful. Hats off. Thank you.

Our journey – From current status till the finishing

There is already a small part of the shell construction for the elementary school and the dormitory (see images). The elementary school consists of three classrooms, one lounge room as well as an administrative office. The dormitory consists of two dorm rooms and sanitary facilities.

It is our goal to construct a new elementary school for 160 street kids and orphans. We aim to provide orphans with free-of-charge education, thus enabling the children to learn a trade and find a job in the future.

We consider it our role to get these children off the streets, to offer them a perspective and a future, which is as stable as possible under these circumstances. Reading and writing are essential skills for grownups to build a self-determined and independent life in order to be able to finance the school fees for their children in turn one day.

The vicious circle for people living below the poverty line in Uganda must be broken so that the country can breathe again in the long term.
Thanks to Joachim Schuster, the school construction can now be completed
